banks have changed

banks have changed... so they say. talk of a change: now everyone seems to love their banks. must be the rush up to valentine's day.

anyone for office table football?

i've found the ideal place to work. no place. all places. i mean, in today's world, we can work from anywhere, can't we? the only serious reason to go to the office would be to play table-football, wouldn't it?
my dream has almost come true, in this hilarious video. almost.
the truth is closer to that of a morning rat race to catch a desk by the window. to hope you won't be pulled into a meeting (and lose that place by the window). to pack and unpack your little black backpack, meandering from open space to open space in the search of a desk for the rest of the day. oh, and if you can't find one, that's ok, you can even work from a teleboutique!
sounds too good to be true? mhmh.
next time you bump into someone who really works there, ask them what if feels like. chances are, that unless you meet the pretty girl in the video, you'll want to work elsewhere. the ideal place. no place.

a passion for progress

noh. noh pour neder over hembeek. certains y croient, y voient, la vynil valley de la chimie internationale. d'autres, résignés, attendent que l'on leur écrive, qu'on ne les oublie pas. on ne les oublie pas. neder over hembeek...

dexia's rebranding... wait anxi..eux!

in the run up to dexia's rebranding, no one knows what the new bank's name might be. some experts are puzzling (i just saw a list of so-called potential names i found hard to believe might have been created by an agency), others have no clue (that's me ;-).

one thing's for sure: they will need to reassure their future clients they're back in proper business. losing trust at 20 million euros a week can't last for long.

see you on thursday.

lost boys' girl found boy?

great meeting this morning! a new dawn of new challenges rising. what an exhilirating feeling of motion, speed and peace. paradoxical, but true.

time

three years ago, i stood in a church in france and was struck by a feeling of total peace. the church was empty. i am not a religious person. it was a spiritual experience of alignment. everything was right.
three years later, i am struck by the same feeling.

“dithyrambique”?

staline —(c) unknown
je ne sais pas ce que ça veut dire mais comme il y a “tyran” dedans, ça doit être négatif.
